Champion’s Auto Ferry from Algonac to Harsen’s Island runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Summer schedule: 6am to Midnight – Service runs continuously. Midnight to 6am – every 20 minutes on the hour. Winter schedule begins December 1st – (May start later depending on demand), 6am to Midnight – Service runs every 15 minutes on the hour, Midnight to 6am – Every 20 minutes on the hour.
How to get to the Island…
Visitors to the Island can arrive by airplane, car or boat. Harsens Island features miles and miles of both paved and dirt roads. There are a number of marinas on the Island as well.
Champion’s Auto Ferry Service
For those arriving by car, you must cross the North Channel by Ferry, which departs from Algonac, Michigan. The Ferry runs 365 days per year.
