“Our old standby destination on the water.”

Brown's is my favorite seasonal destination on the water, and it keeps getting better. This is an established, rustic place with "character". The docks are well-maintained, the deck has been expanded in recent years, and the staff numbers have increased by a few.

For food, the Madison Burger is the old standby. I ventured away from that a few times this past summer, and discovered that their wraps are actually very good.

The service might be slow at times, but this is Harsen's Island. Relax, have a beer, and watch the boats and people come and go.

“Browns Bumper Burgers”

Browns is a mid American Diner with a difference. Tucked away down a creek it caters for not only the gas guzzling motor trade, but also those arriving by water from their holiday shacks. The food is great, staff friendly, especially the gals, but watch out for the locals. The evening trade can be lively with the local budding musical talent. Convenient for those who frequent Lake St Clair and surrounding creeks

I've only been to Brown's for their Halloween party...which should be on your bucket list...But having said that I have experienced their service under enormous pressure...still great! The layout is nice with dance floor and a couple of decks, dockside seating. Great food too. Beware CASH only on Halloween.
